The purpose of this paper is to show the correct given name and surname of Jean-Baptiste-Bertrand (de) Raymond dit Toulouse, son of Raymond-Bertrand de Raymond and Jeanne Aubry, and the correct full name of his father, as well as, of course, to show their direct descent and that of their descendants from the Counts of Toulouse.
Philippe Amyot
This paper discusses at length the ancestry of Philippe Amyot, husband of Anne Couvent. The purpose of this paper is, in the main, to answer the question of what Amyot family in France Philippe Amyot was a member, and of who the parents of Philippe Amyot were. Also, by showing all the original documents that show the descent of my family and me from Philippe Amyot, and particularly that of my uncle Robert Amiot, my mother’s brother, who has had his DNA tested and his Y-DNA haplogroup assigned by FamilyTree DNA, I have definitively established the Y-DNA haplogroup of Philippe Amyot. A few pages have been omitted from this paper, making for a preview that is almost a complete version of Philippe Amyot.
Charles de Longueval
This paper has, in the main, two purposes, one, to identify the lordship of Walicourt that Charles de Longueval was lord of, and two, to show who the parents were of Charles de Longueval, husband of Louise de Joyeuse. Charles de Longueval and Louise de Joyeuse were the maternal grandparents of Anne Couvent, wife of Philippe Amyot. A few pages have been omitted from this paper, making for a preview that is almost a complete version of Charles de Longueval.
